Terms of Service

You need an account to use Sumantrak. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials private and for everything that happens under your account — let us know right away (via in-app Support) if you think someone else has access to it. You must be at least 13 years old to register.

Sumantrak runs on a credit system. The Free plan grants a monthly credit allowance at no cost. Paid plans (Student, Pro, Premium) grant a higher monthly allowance for a fixed period — 30 days for a monthly purchase, 365 days for an annual purchase — starting from the date payment is confirmed.

This is a one-time payment per period, not an auto-renewing subscription.We do not store your card details and do not charge you again automatically. When your paid period ends, your account automatically returns to the Free plan unless you purchase another period. You can also buy one-off credit top-ups that don't expire with a billing period.

Prices shown at checkout are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change plan pricing going forward — a change never affects a period you've already paid for.

Because a purchase grants immediate access to paid AI usage, payments are generally non-refundable once a plan or credit pack has been activated on your account. If something genuinely went wrong on our end — a failed payment that still deducted money, a duplicate charge, or a plan that never activated — contact us through in-app Support and we'll make it right. This doesn't affect any refund right you have under Indian consumer protection law.

You agree not to:

• Use Sumantrak to violate your college or university's academic integrity policy — Mentor is built to help you understand and practice, not to submit its output as your own work where your institution prohibits that.
• Attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent rate limits, credit checks, or the free-tier caps.
• Share your account with others or resell access to it.
• Upload content you don't have the right to share, or content that's illegal, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or system prompts.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Mentor, Numericals, Coding, and every other AI feature can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date — like any AI system. Treat responses as a study aid, not an authoritative source: verify anything that matters (exam syllabi, official cutoffs, placement deadlines, legal or medical questions) against your institution or another primary source before relying on it. Estimate & Cost figures in Numericals are illustrative only, not a real quotation.

Whatever you write, upload, or generate through Sumantrak — notes, code, resumes, projects — stays yours. By using the service you give us the limited right to store and process that content strictly to provide the feature you asked for (e.g. sending your question to an AI model to get an answer). We don't claim ownership of it and don't use it for anything beyond running the product.

If you refer a friend with your personal referral code or link and they buy a full-price annual plan — not a monthly plan, a credit pack, or a purchase made with a coupon code — you earn 30 days of credit on that plan tier, but only if you yourself already hold an active annual plan at the time your friend's payment is confirmed. Every 10th qualifying referral tops your plan up to a full year from that day, on top of whatever days you already had.

The Campus Ambassador program is open, by application, to students who already hold an active annual plan; approval is at our discretion. Once approved, a qualifying referral from a student at your own declared college earns double the usual day-credit (60 days instead of 30) plus a 10% cash commission on what we actually collected from that purchase, paid out to a UPI ID you give us for that purpose. A referral from a student at a different college still counts as a normal referral — the ambassador boost applies only to your own campus.

Commission is tracked as an amount owed to you and paid out manually in batches, not automatically or on a fixed schedule. There is no guaranteed minimum amount you'll earn, and referral or ambassador rewards are not a form of employment or guaranteed income. You're responsible for any tax obligations that apply to commission you receive from us.

If a referred purchase is refunded, reversed, or found to be fraudulent — including a self-referral, a fake account, or misrepresenting your college — we can void that referral and claw back the days and/or commission it generated, and remove you from the Ambassador program for abuse, in addition to any action we take under Section 4. We can also change referral/ambassador reward rates and eligibility, or discontinue either program, at any time; a change never affects a reward already credited for a referral that closed before the change.

Some features depend on third parties we don't control: the AI models behind Mentor (via OpenRouter), and our payment processors (Cashfree, Razorpay, or NOWPayments for crypto). We aren't responsible for their downtime or errors, though we'll do what we reasonably can to work around a persistent outage.

Sumantrak is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cyin Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including exam outcomes, placement results, or decisions made based on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

You can stop using Sumantrak and ask us to delete your account at any time via in-app Support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate Section 4, or if we discontinue the service — in the latter case, we'll give you reasonable notice where practical.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Sumantrak will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the effective date above when we do, and for a material change, we'll flag it in-app. Continuing to use Sumantrak after a change means you accept the updated terms.
