AI Mentor for Electrical & Electronics Students

Every circuit you trace today is one less short you're chasing blind tomorrow.

An engineering student asks Sumantrak

“explain Thevenin's theorem with a numerical”

Any linear circuit as seen from two terminals can be replaced by a single voltage source (Vth) in series with a single resistance (Rth) — find Vth as the open-circuit voltage, Rth by killing sources and finding equivalent resistance. Viva tip: examiners love asking you to redo it with a load attached — practice finding current through a specific resistor using the Thevenin equivalent, not the full circuit.
